Gaylyn Williams.
A lifetime of cross-cultural ministry, honest faith, and hard-won perspective informs every practical tool she shares.
Jerusalem
Prepared to listen closely
Her first work was helping people put language into words.
At Dallas Bible College, Gaylyn studied Bible, missions, linguistics, and Greek. That foundation took her into communities where listening well mattered before anything could be taught.
Her work with Wycliffe included language development, literacy, Bible translation support, and training. She also created the Wycliffe International Cookbook, which remained one of the organization’s top-selling books for more than 25 years.

Experience behind the teaching
She does not teach from a distance.
Gaylyn’s perspective was shaped through abandonment, the loss of her infant son and fiancé, years as a single parent, life in war-torn countries, betrayal, and cancer.
Her speaking makes room for both truth and tenderness—creating a safe place to name what hurts and practice what helps.
