You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. – Isaiah 26:3
In this world, there is very little perfect peace. Instead there is turmoil and stress. Think about this verse today.
- How can it help you with your stress?
- What does this verse say we need to do to get this perfect peace?
- What do you need to do today to find God’s perfect peace?
This is a good reminder for me. I’ve been stressed over some things I need to do. I’m definitely not writing this because I have it all together. I’m learning and growing!
Shalom Shalom
In his final days on earth, my dad, Ken Williams, meditated on verses he had memorized over his lifetime. They brought him such joy and peace. Isaiah 26:3 was one he meditated on often.
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! – Isaiah 26:3 NLT
Perfect peace is actually “Shalom Shalom.” Shalom is so much more than just peace. It also means rest, wholeness, well, happy, health, prosperity, favor and much more.
I want to encourage you to memorize at least one verse this week. Don’t use the excuse that you can’t memorize Scripture. We are all able to hide God’s Word in our hearts. When we do, God blesses us in great ways!
Meditate today on how God can keep you in His perfect Shalom when you trust Him and fix your thoughts on Him.
