Blessed be the Lord—day after day he carries us along. He’s our Savior, our God, oh yes! He’s God-for-us, he’s God-who-saves-us. – Psalm 68:19-20 MSG
Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately
- I love the way the Message talks about God here. Read the verse again, meditating on what it says.
- Romans 8:31 says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Think about that. What does it mean to you today that God is for you?
- How have you seen God-For-You in your life? If you haven’t experienced Him in this way, ask the Lord why you haven’t. It might just be that you weren’t looking. I know there have been times in my life when I have felt like God abandoned me, yet when I looked back His fingerprints were all over my life in many ways.
- In what ways do you need to know that God is for you? Talk to Him about that.
A Prayer for You
God, thank You that You are for me. I bless You today and praise You that You are my protector and my advocate. Open my eyes to see You more as God-For-Me.
