Name of God: God, Whose Power Is in the Heavens

Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the heavens. – Psalm 68:34

Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately

• Have you ever watched a lightning storm? I’m sure you have. You can see God’s power in it. When I was in college in Dallas, I remember watching the most phenomenal lightning storm I’ve ever seen. The entire sky lit up every few seconds. I could see the light bouncing around the heavens from the flashes.
• How else is God’s power in the heavens?
• When you look at the universe with the sun, moon and all the stars held in place, you can see God’s power. If you can, go outside tonight to see the stars and consider God, Whose Power is in the Heavens.
• Ask Him to reveal more of Himself to you through this name.

A Prayer for You

God, Your power in the heavens is so amazing. I can’t imagine how big You are to hold all the stars and planets in their orbits. Show me more of Your greatness and power in the heavens.
