The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Harran. – Acts 7:2
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters. – Psalm 29:3

I’ve been asking God to show me His glory. He’s been showing me more and more through nature. His glory is all around us.

One evening I went to take my grand dog (my son Jonathan’s dog) for a walk. As I left, it started to rain. I almost went back inside, but figured I probably wouldn’t melt in the rain. As I turned the corner at the end of my street, I could see a tiny piece of a very faint rainbow. As I kept walking, it got brighter and brighter and then became a double rainbow—absolutely brilliant. Its beauty was overwhelming. I started laughing because God was reminding me of His glory once again. He was also reminding me of some of His promises to me. I felt like the God of Glory reached down and kissed me, showing me His great love once again.

I pray that you also will see God’s glory more and more. Ask the Lord to reveal it to you. And don’t forget to watch for it. It’s all around you! I guarantee you’ll be blessed.
