And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. – 1 Peter 5:10

Some things you can do today with God’s name

  • Grace is unmerited favor. It’s something we don’t deserve. It’s God blessing us, not because we deserve it, but just because He is God and He loves us.
  • One definition of grace I heard when I was in high school (or before) is: God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense (GRACE).
  • I love this name of God. He is the God of ALL Grace. God loves to lavish us with His grace. Look at Ephesians 1:7-8—In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.
  • Take some time today to think about—and share with someone close to you—some of the ways God has lavished His grace on you.
  • Thank Him that He is the God of all Grace.
