For this is what the LORD says—he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited—he says: “I am the LORD, and there is no other.” – Isaiah 45:18 NIV

Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately

  • Today, pay special attention to different aspects of God’s earth, whether it is majestic mountains, tall trees, a placid lake, a churning ocean or a delicate flower.
  • Think about this: God could have made everything in black and white. But He didn’t. He could have made only one type of tree, one type of plant and everything flat. But He didn’t! He could have made everything with no smell and no texture. But He didn’t! He could have made only one taste. I’m so grateful everything doesn’t taste like Ranch Dressing, though its creators have tried to introduce it into everything. He created the earth for our enjoyment and I believe, for His as well.
  • What parts of the earth do you most enjoy? Thank Him.

A Prayer for You

Thank You, Father, that You fashioned and made the earth. You created so much beauty for us to enjoy. Help me to notice Your creation more and always let it remind me of You.
