Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

  • He comforted me during Daniel’s (my middle son) six short months on earth and in the months following his death.
  • He held me close as I lay curled up in bed, wanting to die, after my fiancé was killed on his motorcycle.
  • I can truly say, He is the God of all Comfort.
  • How do you need the Lord to comfort you today? Let Him be your comforter in whatever you are going through.
  • 2 Corinthians 1:4 says that He comforts us so we can comfort others with the comfort He gave us. Who in your life needs comfort today? Call or visit that person and share God’s comfort with him or her.
